UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Hearts, Cupid, chocolate, the color red.......all signs of Valentine's Day. On this day, many couples go out to a romantic dinner, maybe go dancing, to the movies or wherever. They give each other gifts and try to make it a special occasion. Besides romantic love, friends and family members show appreciation for each other, too. They send cards, text messages, and give out candy. But why wait for Valentine's Day to show your loved ones that you care for, appreciate, and love them??? Take the time to show them with small details.......it's those small details that count.

I received an email from a friend with a link to a youtube video. Since in class we've been talking about music and Valentine's Day is celebrated now in February, I thought it was appropriate. It shows how music can affect someone's life and what unconditional love can do. Click on the link below or copy the URL and watch the video. Then answer the questions below.

I have a neighbor with a 15 year old daughter with a strange condition. The expectations of life were approximately of three years. Many believe that the care and love that her mother spent all this time the remains close to fulfilling her 16 years. She does not speak, did not complain only have involuntary movements. This has been a great life lesson for me and every time I see her I thanks God because he gave me a healthy baby and because I have health to enjoy it.

When my uncle had 12 years old he had a fall and broke his right arm. That night he had to fly to New York with my grandfather. When he got to New York his arm had gangrene and the doctor had to determine to amputate. My grandparents had to teach him again how to write, eat, ect, do everything with his left hand. By now he became a totally independant person. He was a policeman in New York, black belt in karate and now has his own family as any capable person.
